One eye disabled is not a disability, then how one eye disabled will get job in Govt or in private?

In governament and also in private orginations, one eye disability is not considered as desibled but in certain advertisement minimum eye power of both the eyes is mentioned or during medical checkup doctors mention about power or disability of one eye and applicant is treated as disabled or unfit and is not considered for job. This is not on paper but actually in practice.
