Aquarium Pets?

I have a established 30 gallon tank with 5 gold fish in it. I would like to add another pet. What else could I add to a tank with a current ph of about 7.6? I have heard of snails and frogs. What changes would be involved with add another pet?

Update:

A weather loach? What is that? What changes will I have to make?

I wouldn't get anything else.Your gold fish will get quite big and I think you already have too many for your tank.

gold snails are really good and they get nice and big, they are pretty cool, also I would suggest a black moore. They get about 6 inches if you get a small breed.

if anything i would add a weather loach, but avoid frogs and snails, snails will multiply to much and there is a possibility that the frogs would be eaten.
