Hows does distinctive ring work. Do you get like two phone #'s on one phone line?

yes, one phone line...and if you got a digital phone you can have up to 4....depends on the provider....I have .wave.file download with music....because I can remember better a songs ...then rings....

yes distinctive ringing is like a virtual phone number... there is no new phone line associated with it, it is the same physical phone line, just when someone calls into your distinctive line, it will ring diffrently then the main line, this is so that you can hear the diffrence between what line is being called, it is helpful when using one line as voice and fax, so you do not pick up the phone for fax calls
