I was reading somewhere that new cars have something called DFCO which basically cuts off fuel when not on the gas, and it helps slow down the car too. Now this only works in 3rd, 2nd or 1st. But in the city chances are you are not going to go fast anyways so you don't need the 4th gear. And since it is also doing engine braking it will also let your brakes last longer.

So how much do you think this would help driving in 3rd?

I want to get google sketchup on my Vista machine (according to google it will work now) but it NEEDS .net framework 1.1 even if you already have 2.0 or 3.0. So do I need to install 1.1?

I have seen both sides of the debate and I am really thinking that global warming is really hyped up, and that we are not causing it. I heard that like one volacano explosion causes more CO2 than we ever did. And that we only make like 5% of the earth's CO2, and they are not really sure if CO2 causes it. Like I still believe in conserving and in green energy because it creates less smog and stuff, but I think that this global warming thing is really over-hyped by the politions and enviromentalists.

So what should I believe, that we are the cause, or that this is just how the earth cycles?

Can I do a clean install from the upgrade disk that they provide me with (compaq) Or just a upgrade, or will the workaround work, so that if you install the upgrade disk (no key yet) and then do an "upgrade" with which you do enter the key? Thanks
