If your talking about using an inverter.. (12V dc to 120V ac) .. YES..
Effectivly you will have 2 amps at 120V (240W)

Power (watts) is a measure of Current (Amperes) multiplied by Potential (Volts). Therefore 20A x 12V = 240W.
20A x 120V = 2400W. To get 20A out of an household 120V AC outlet, you will need some pretty heavy gauge wire or the following could happen, breaker trips, fuses blow up, cable burns, house burns down. Hopefully, the breaker will trip before that.
