where do i place my income from a self-employment 1099 form.?

    This is reported as Business Income, you need to complete the Schedule C or Cez and the Schedule SE and the form 1040

    It is reported on a Schedule C and if your net profit is more than $400 you need to file a schedule SE and pay social security and medicare taxes on it.
