I see what You're asking.
This is another of the many flaws all legal systems have.
Many people believe that Law is the same as Justice.
Is what You're describing Lawful?
I believe Not.
Is it Just (fair)?
I believe Yes. It is, the weakest is being protected (the child).
Disregarding alien or citizenship, the weakest is suppossed to be protected.
I appreciate many people don't realize how lucky they are they live in a country that makes war thousands of miles afar instead as other countries where anarchy reigns. Then these people believe they have something superior. Gracious Lord! hopefully these great countries would educate a little more and people may have a chance to travel so they knew that human kind doesn't know nothing about citizenship.
There is a God above Us All, and He sees us all the same.
Good luck! bear hugs!

What I don't understand is, if he is a Mexican illegal immigrant in the US, when he went before the court to be ordered to pay child support, why when they found out that he is here illegally, wasn't he taken into custody for deportation at that time? I also understand what you are saying here - how can they order someone to pay child support when that person is not able to legally work in the country. Yes, I understand what you are saying. But, I think it is even more to the point to wonder why he wasn't taken for deportation right then and there? Either way, I don't see how the illegal immigrant is going to be forced to pay child support. What is the court telling him to do? If you aren't able to find work legally, go find a job illegally under the table or with stolen ID and pay that child support? Or, if you can't work legally, go sell drugs, but pay that child support, one way or another! No matter what, I think that child is going to be supported by the taxpayers, of course.

It would be best for you to not get involved in a matter like this. Often times in situations like this there is more to the story than what is told. If you want to give advice to your friends suggest that she get a job to help out with the bills, if she already has a job suggest maybe working more hours, but the child support payments are between the mother, the father, and the courts.

You're confused by two different issues: immigration law is federal; the child support order is local. Just because someone isn't allowed to work doesn't mean they can get off the hook for supporting their child. There are plenty of people who, without working either legally or illegally, can support a child. Money from home, for example.

Call Immigration Control and Enforcement or go to their website, at the US Dept of Homeland Security and turn him in.
Illegal aliens have no legal right to be here.
Illegal aliens have the right to be deported for violation of United States laws.

no matter what still responsible for child, he should be sent back and so should mother and child if all are illegal. it'll be another burden tax payers will be paying for.

how is it possible? other countries honor our child support orders/warrants, and they dont care HOW the child support makes it, just that it does.
check the state you live in, its all listed right there....(see the list of countrys whom do).

Most of the Mexicans can't and won't even support themselves, why would they support kids?
You are saying your 'friend' should be exempt from paying because they are here illegally?
He should be happy he isn't thrown into prison for crimes against the American people for being here in the first place.
