Ipod !HELP!?

Alright I just bought an ipod nano because my last one was stolen. So i already have itunes but it doesnt recognize the ipod when it is plugged in so i cant sync them. The computer beeps when I plug it in but otherwise shows no signs of recognition of it. PLEASE HELP

    You need to delete itunes off your computer than put it back on there.or create another account on the computer.

    I will assume this Ipod is brand new so

    First thing is make sure your Ipod battery is fully charged ..

    If you have a wall adaptor that will be the best way to charge it .

    you can set your Ipod to disk mode too , that might assist your computer in picking it up ..

    to do this go to the link below and select your operating system first then the model ipod you have .. it will explain certain things you can try to get it working ..

    1. you can transfer songs by not synching you r ipod. Open the folder where your mp3's are the click and drag it to your library in i tunes. This is much better that synching your ipod everytime you need to update it.\

    2. If you would prefer synching it you need to re install i tunes.
