3. Mac (And I have to disagree with nird because I love PCs and even have my Associates degree in Business Technology, but I decided to get a Mac because they are less expensive, and are less prone to viruses, so there!) :-P

I have used Macs since I was 5. I have been vegan a lot less time than that probably about 7 months and vegetarian for about 3 years maybe a little less. Rush Limbaugh also breathes air and eats food I am not stopping either nor stopping my mac usage, they were good computers though more recently they are focusing less on computers and more on stupid iGadgets (I have an iPod it works well I don't hate it but it is the classic) and that sucks but I have a g5 and a laptop and an old 1999 computer and they all are great!

4. g. Other: Wanted a Unix based laptop that I didn't have to spend all my time configuring like I would have to with a laptop running Linux or FreeBSD, that would work with all my peripherals, and Mac's are cheaper than SparcBooks.

6. d. Mac OSX. b. Windows XP (when forced to). c. Linux, and e. Other: Also use FreeBSD, Solaris, AIX, Irix, and True64 at work.

(Oh and to nird, go to any major university and see how many Macs are used by Computer Science post grads and see if you still think that).

4. other - it's the only thing (for the most part) available where I'm located and have grown used to it.

(I think Macs are cool and I would like to try and get but I just don't have the resources to have one. Also, if Macs are made for idiots then I guess they'd be idiots to realize that the latest OS is built on / derived from Unix (*wink*) and that Mac coolness is being copied by MS Windows).

3. Both (although I'm typing on my Vista PC - we have Mac, Linux and Vista computers in our home).

4. g - I have multiple operating systems because I love tinkering with them. I plan to install Solaris on one of my older machines at some point.

5. f - I use my PC for word processing, do most email and lots of internet surfing under Linux as well as programming, and the Mac for video work.

I suspect I'm going to be a statistical outlier.

I'm female , and I'm 25 years old,I'm using PC because it's recommended by friends and i really feel so comforter when i used it ,I'm using it in many purposes like work ,gaming ,entertainment,music and video, my operating system is windows xp i hope to change to vista but my brother hide the version from me :)) but i'll find it .....
