Why would a person get removed totally as a top 10 answerer in a yahoo category?

It happened to a friend of mine, went from #1 in the category to being a nobody. It's so unfair.

Happened to me too. I was top in my category two days in a row and then totally dissapeared even though my daily total was enough. I think someone needs to bring this to YahooAnswers attention. Maybe then we could get an answer!

With our updates last week, we added category leaderboards for International Answers markets. Now each market can view separate leaderboard stats for their categories.

Unfortunately, we've found an issue where some users are being left off their appropriate leaderboards, and we're investigating now so we can get this fixed as soon as possible. We apologize for any confusion.

Either someone got more best answers than the person, or they got their account erased.

It looks like they are rotating members. I thought it was a new glitch.

i'm not sure either maybe to give someone else a chance of having higher answers,don't really know
