What licenses do you need to show a film in a pub or bar?
Presumably there's two - part of the premises license, to be able to provide entertainment, and permision / licensing from the film distibuter.

Your premises license will handle the assembly of patrons at your establishment, but an authorization to show the film or program , legally approved by the person or organization holding the copyrights to the film is equally important. This applies whether you are charging a fee , making a profit , or otherwise.
