Playoff Overtime?

I know there is no shootout in the playoffs and there are full 20 minute periods in overtime but do they still incorporate 4 on 4 as in the regular season?

    Overtime is what makes the playoffs so exciting. But 5 on 5 is utilized during the overtime periods. Imagine having something like a 2-man advantage during a 4-on-4...that would leave only 2 players (plus goalie) on the ice.

    5 on 5, but I wish it was 4 on 4 for a full 20. Would make it more exciting.

    Nope, 5 on 5 this is the playoffs win or go home.

    In the playoffs they play a full 20 minutes of OT, not 5 minutes like in the regular season. If no one scores at the end of the full 20 minutes of OT, then they have an intermission and play another full 20 minutes of OT. It continues until someone scores.
