Summer Reading Suggestions for Low Readers?
I am looking for some updated titles for 5th-8th grade students in Special Education. The books should be current but at a lower reading level and preferably on CD/cassette.
Any types of suggestions would be very helpful!

I spent some time cross referencing easy chapter books with the list of books available at the public library. I spoke with the children's librarian and gave her the list as well as the students. Many of them participated in the summer reading program offered at the library. They also have quite a few books on tape. Here's a link to easy chapter books. Best of luck.

just ask your friends for good book sugestions. go to a librayry and mabey chack some out
