What is the best night to grocery shop? I hate crowds!?

I live in Texas in the Southwestern US, and most retail grocery chains in this area restock on Tuesday night in time for their Wednesday morning advertising circular, so late Tuesday night is a really good time to shop. There aren't too many customers, the store is full of stockers who can help you if you need it, and you can almost always find exactly what you need - nothing is out of stock! Of course you are still operating on the previous week's specials, but most of the time they will give you the advertised special that starts the next day as well - especially if it is a doorbuster special item.

The stocking practices may be different in different regions. The best way to find out is to ask the grocery manager at your favorite grocery store when the typically do their restocking for the week. Then plan on doing your shopping the same night.

I don't know what night is best, but we go to the store that is open 24hrs in the middle of the night you have the place almost to yourself! don't go alone though, take someone with you. its not safe anymore !
