depends on what u want and what color u were, color on color goes darker EVERY time unless its a blond and u will have orange i promise, if u like the level the lightness or darkness but hate the tone eg "ugly red" find a brown 3 LEVELS higher than the ugly red u used and it should go brown w/ a bit if red (auburn) trust me

I would have another color put on it. A dark ashe brown should take out the red of your hair. I would also go to a professional and let them do it. They should know what color would work best for you.

yea i'm not suprised @ all.....alot of auborn's do that maybe try a different color or ask your hairdresser. it reallly depends on what your natural hair color is
