This lady was walking to work one morning?

and passed by a pet store. A parrot was in a cage out front and as she neared, he said, "Hey lady!" She turned in surprise and said, "What?"

The parrots replies, "You're ugly!" The lady walked on without answering.

That evening on her way home, passing the same store, the parrot says, "Hey lady!" She says, "What?" The bird replies, "You're ugly!" Upset now, the woman walked on.

The next morning, again the parrot says, "Hey lady!" "What?" she replies, dreading the answer. "You're ugly!"

That evening, same conversation. This continues morning and night all week and she dreads passing the store.

Friday evening, she approaches and the bird says, "Hey lady!" "What?" she screams. "You're ugly!" At this she slams into the store and confronts the man in charge. "If you don't teach that rude bird another phrase by Monday, I'm going to sue you!" she tells him.

Monday morning, the lady nears the store, the parrot says "Hey lady!" She says, "What?" He replies, "You know!
