It all depends on the office that you get assigned to. I have worked at three offices in 14 years.
Normally you start as a PTF (part time flexible employee), but that doesn't mean you will work less than 40 hours. I was a PTF an routinely worked 50+ hours a week. Right now I have my own route which took me about 4 years to get. It's a nice route in a good office.
I could tell you more but it would take days.
