How to choose best answer?

Many times more than one respondents have similar and good answer that one would like to choose as best answer. Once I put the question to voting...I realized that voter half hertedly read the answer or rate the answer as per their perspective...and therefore I am not interested in putting my question to voting....How can we convey this problem to Yahoo Answers!

You can always extend your question to see if you'll get more answers. If that's not possible, go with your first instinct--which person responded most closely to what you wanted to know--not necessarily agreeing with you, but giving a perspective or information you hadn't thought of.

You can always check their profile and see if they've asked or answered similar questions to yours. That might give you insight as to whether they have practical knowledge of the subject or not.

If this doesn't help, click on no best answer. Then you can ask the question in a different way that might get you better answers.

It's not that difficult and not that big a deal to choose, it's only points. If two are similar choose first come.

It's not a life or death decision. Just pick an answer or let it go to voting.
