Mr. Bean vs. Black Adder?
Which is the better?
Personally, I'd go for Black Adder anytime, since it's way sharper and so cunning you could slip a tail to it and call it a weasel!

I still prefer good ole mr. bean, so much like the old silent pictures, chaplin comes to mind. Oh, a point of interest, on the black adder show, there is a bumbling character on repeatidly, this same actor also appeared with rowen atkinson, in another series, which took place in the trenches during the first world war. this actor is hugh laurie, who you will now find speaking a very good fake american accent in the great new medical seies-house.

Blackadder was brilliant. Wasn't the main character on House in some episodes? I live in Texas and haven't seen it for 15 years.
The Mr. Bean Christmas special where he was playing with the plastic army guys was great too.
My favorite was when Baldric (sp?) put two pencils up his nose and said "guess what I am?" I of course was expecting: a walrus, but he said "a pencil case".
ahhhh - the best.

Bawahahaha..that's one of my fave Edmund quotes.
Both shows rock, but I'll take Black Adder anytime as well

you will in all possibility get a 50-50 cut up in this, because of the fact the two characters are archetypes of diverse "varieties" of comedy - the verbal wit and sarcastic sociology on the single hand, and the basically seen, universally suited corporation on the different. For my money, i will take Blackadder every time - on an identical time as I rejoice with the skill and humour inherent in Mr Bean, it hardly makes me chortle, yet that's in all possibility purely because of the fact i'm a verbally-centred individual. Atkinson himself is a phenomenally experienced practitioner of the two varieties of comedy, so whichever human beings desire, they are getting diamond-high quality examples of the paintings.

Mr Bean!!! He was great! I do watch the Black Adder, and he is still funny, but not as funny when he was Mr Bean.
