Does no one really see the spell check box?
I mean, really! It is right there! And it even tells you to check spelling when you click on "ask" at the top of the page.

I am in favor of spell check and use it often. However, sometimes it won't work within a reasonable time frame on my computer. This seems to happen on longer posts. I have spell check on my Google toolbar, Yahoo answers will not allow me to scroll down and see the errors past the first few sentences. I do make an effort and there are even a few words I can spell on my own...LOL It's a pet peeve of mine also. Not so much with difficult words, but when a 6 year old can spell them, they really should be spelled correctly.

I thought I was the only one that got really fretted by this. It's nice to know others can speak and spell properly as well.

Maybe people thinks it is fun or best to write like in a chat room using words abbreviated. It is a matter of freewill, not blindness

well sometimes when you hit spell check and don't proof read your post the spell check lets things go by.
