I can't start my 99' Corolla?

I have a 99' Corolla. I can't start my car since this morning. It does not make anymore sound when I try to start it. But the tempreture meter does show the temp is going up. So what problem may that be? Many thanks.

    Try spraying the air filter with starting fluid first.

    If that doesn't work then you can have someone hook jumper cables up to your batter and charge it for a good three or four minutes before you try and start it.

    If that does't work I don't really know what it could be.

    sounds like the starter? Did you jump it?

    battery? Is it cold where you live? Cold weather will completely kill a battery.
