Urgent! Will everybody please sign this petition?

The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) needs your help by signing the Petition to Protect Human Life now! http://www.aclj.org/

"Right out of the gate in January, the House of Representatives passed legislation that will allow federal funds for embryonic stem cell research. This is a moral and ethical issue that demands the attention of conservative, pro-life Americans! We must take action now and stop this legislation in its tracks. Please read the form below carefully and declare your membership with the ACLJ by adding your name to our Petition to Protect Human Life to the U.S. Senate.

Petition to Protect Human Life

To All Members of the United States Senate

As a concerned citizen of America, and one who believes in the sanctity of each human life, I am outraged at the "under the radar" move by the U.S. House of Representatives to pass legislation which designates federal funds for embryonic stem cell research. This type of research destroys a human life."

Update:

I'm deeply sorry Mr. John H about your mother. My utmost sympathy.

However, scientists have found that we can gain more from getting stem cells from fully grown humans (adults).

The whole issue with In Vitro Fertilization is absolutely sick! When scientists start playing "God", they, and all those who support them, will have to anser to the Most Holy Lord God Almighty!

Embryonic stem cell research can also serve to save lives. That it its purpose. I think it is supremely ironic that it's OK to throw a left over embryo into the garbage can after fertility treatment, but the idea of using that same embryo to find ways of curing some of our most horrible human diseases offends a lot of people.

My mother died of Parkinsons Disease just recently. She battled for ten years but eventually could not speak, move, or even swallow a drink of water. At the end, the only things that worked were her eyes, pleading with someone to end her misery. We will never know, but one of those embryo's that went into the dumpster might have saved her.

Stem cell research destroys a human life.

Invasions and subsequent occupations destroy human life too, but I don't exactly see you running around trying to get people to sign petitions to get us out of iraq.
