How can I locate a driver for a Compaq USB Webcam?
the webcam is for a laptop on a flexible wand. I can't find the original packaging and CDrom. There is no model number on the thing and searches of the HP website get no where. I suspect someone else made it and compaq marketed it.
Searches of "driver download" sites have been similarly fruitless. ANy ideas?

If it's the model (CPQ54CAM) whose picture is shown here:

then you might download the required drivers from here:

It's the "In-Sight Webcam" (Model #IC455C), from a company
called Micro Innovations. I hope I'm not wrong.

right click my computer, go on properties, hardware, device manager and choose the hardware that you would like to download the driver. Right click the device you like and choose update or install. Then choose the second choice. When you have finished all of that choose the device you need and install it.
Or you can go to hp.com and go to driver download and make automatically get the driver you need to get
