I need a website to find my house value?

Contrary to what they might claim, there is no website that will tell you the exact value of your house! You can check similar houses that have sold recently in your area, preferably in your subdivision, and then adjust for size, condition, new appliances, amenities, etc. There is no "secret formula" or "county property value book" that real estate brokers use... they just come up with a "best guess" based on recent comparable home sales. You can do it yourself if you take the time to do some research in an MLS. Try ziprealty.com or just about any other on line realty site to get free access to MLS - homes for sale listings.
Source(s): Don't use housevalues.com or a similar site that is broker sponsored - it sends your info to a real estate agent, who will harass you for the next 10 years! The tax assessment value of your home is almost never the actual market value. - oldoneLv 41 decade ago
You are paying taxes on your home aren't you? Or a morgage company.. you can find the true value thr your taxes. You can find the value of your home thr your insurance that you are paying on in case of fire, theft, etc. Your taxes have the value of your home, property, and outer buildings.

http://www.zillow.com/ , just type in your address and it gives you a price range. You can add on things that you've done to your house and it will re-estimate your houses worth. Wonderful tool! Good luck.
