trying to turn up the briteness even a little will cause the screen to go black.

The furnace works great on utility power, but will not try to start on the generator. It is a Trane forced air gas furnace. If it is a problem with the ripple on the generator, what equipment (eg. line filter, etc) can I use to clean up the sine wave?

furnace will not come on. Have checked voltage (124V) and hertz (60). Driving me crazy. I know of no reason why it wouldn't run unless there is some ripple on the sine wave. Any ideas anyone?

friend has a problem and wants me to tie into his computer to get it straightened out. I need to know how to do this

Looking for an old 8" cake pan that had a rivet in the center and a tin metal piece that ran all the way to the sides and overhung the top. You could swivel the piece and it would make the cake release. They were made in the 50's and 60's. Looking for a new one, if they still make them. Any ideas where I can find one?

Grandkid in preschool. He reads at a 5th grade level, and can add columns of numbers. He is getting bored, and is starting to refuse to do simple problems, because he already knows how to do them. I need some direction. The boy is already in a private school, The teachers can't keep him interested, and to do the work the rest of the preschoolers are doing. He wants to learn more, and doesn't want to waste his time. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you solve it?

I have a 9 yr old Rheem 3 1/2 ton Central Air. The "M" coil is leaking and needs to be replaced. Can I put in a new coil with a R-407 orifice and convert it over, while still using the same compressor?

Both turn signals work, but when the emergency flashers are turned on, only the left hand side will work. I don't have a wiring diagram or Chilton's for this SUV and don't want to buy one, any ideas out there?

I bought a dozen eggs from the grocery store. I hard boiled them and about half of the eggs have a greenish color on the outside of the yolk. Is there anything I can do to prevent it from happening in the future??
