emergency flashers on 95 Explorer, left ones work, right ones don't?

Both turn signals work, but when the emergency flashers are turned on, only the left hand side will work. I don't have a wiring diagram or Chilton's for this SUV and don't want to buy one, any ideas out there?

Update:

Lights work and fuses good. I'll see the car Sunday, and I'll give the flasher button a serious jiggle. Thanks for all the input from old friends and new. I'll keep this updated as I learn more.

I agree with Bartzan and Ford girl... the turn signal switches are known for headache issues those years with that beign one of the issues I've seen.

Could it be a bad wire connection? I would try to follow the wire and see if its bad somewhere. The bulb could be bad, or the switch. Or the wiring could be bad in the steering wheel, that happened to me once, had to have the entire steering wheel column replaced. Good Luck, I hate electrical problems!

Check that the flasher bulbs are seated in their sockets securely and not rusted. Also check for blown fuses.

The t/s switch, almost for sure. Wiggle the the button and it likely will work, at least for a sec. If not, post more, and I'll send you the wiring diagram.

Try jiggling the hazard button on the multifunction switch when this happens. If you see both of them working temporarily, as you're wiggling the switch, your multifunction switch needs to be replaced.

My Taurus does that and it has a bad combo switch.
