Guys! I can understand an itch - but my b/f hikes a foot up on the couch and stands there scratching and?
"scrambling eggs" while trying to maintain a serious conversation - I just can't even make eye contact! For gawd sake I haven't even had my coffee yet! Is this normal behavior? Or is he exceptionally itchy - icky?

I have FIVE male flatmates. We live in an old funeral home. My room is in the basement for a reason. They are soooo gross!

Sounds like he needs an H-D. Us bikers do that kind of stuff. Strictly since we don't really give a damn what other people think. It's called "Do Your Own Thing". Just means he is an independent person. I'm sure you heard the commercial where they say "If It Feels Good, Do It". Well, us independent types just do it. Be glad he ain't a common clone.
You could also consider it a type of show of respect, that he is not inhibited around you in any way. KInda like when I'm in the shower and the 'Ol Lady comes in to use the can. (But sometimes I think she comes in there to gas me!)
