Hi, remember that the 'suicide' in the Muslim community is just a way to honour their traditions. There's one element of their religion that it's called the Yihad, or Holy War. You are very blessed in the after life if you die for the Yihad. It is done to protect territories, culture and muslims. They do are like Kamikazes.

And their idealism is not futile (at all) for them. I don't have any opinion about that.

Not to them it's not. There are those that feel taking down the "evil doer" in the name of Allah is worthy of praise. They become martyrs for their belief. Many feel that this kind of sacrifice will take them directly to glory. Much like in Christian belief, followers of Jesus would martyr themselves in the name of Jesus. It is almost like a one way ticket to glory.

Are Christians or any other religious faith for that matter any less idealistic when they perpetuate and justify hate, murder and inhumanities all in the name of the god they believe in? Would you say as equally that their idealism is futile and a waste of life?

Every person is free to believe as they choose, much to the dismay of the majority of Christian society. Christianity is not the end all be all, only true way to believe. That's why its call a belief. Belief and factual knowledge are not synonymous with each other. Belief is a personal choice and a personal OPINION of what is true for each individual.

As soon as EVERYONE is willing to accept that each individual has the right to choose what they believe, or not believe we, as a society, will be able to quit pointing fingers at the so call radicals of other faiths. Once religious equality becomes truly and honestly practiced, we will be able to start seeing a turn towards peace for the good of all mankind. As long as religious followers continue to justify and perpetuate hate, murder and inhumanity all in the name of a god, we will continue to see hate, murder and inhumanity, and there will be no peace amongst mankind.

The ones that are committing suicide in Palestine are doing it for a cause, Israel occupies Palestinian land illegally under International law. How would you feel if Mexico annexed California and subject Californians to harassment and bullying? Although suicide doesn't solve the problem but the problem lies with both parties and not just one which is often not seen.

well in my humble opinion...it is just the terrorists idealism and a waste of life? by committing suicide they think that they have fought for the cause of Allah...and the war isn't the way to do it...Muslims wanna fight for God, go out there and help someone...show the people what a Muslim does and who there are...we don't have to kill them...by killing them is not showing them anything but the other side of life after death...and those who live...well you see what is going on...

muslims believes that there is one god and because they love its each others and there religion and there god more than u imagine they decides that there soul is a very small thing if it is compared with the no. of souls will live if they won the war against ppl attacking islam. for muslim the ppl who dies defending there religion,there families,there country,muslims even himself because he is muslim is considered to be like a hero and his present will be recieved by entering heaven

(in quran there is some words that assumes that ppl that kill themselfs that way r not died but they enters the heaven in a very high degree were mohamed (islams prophet) stays at and its the highest degree in paradise)

They are killing innocent people or committing suicide by blowing themselves up so they can go to heaven and have 71 or 72 virgins waiting for them, which the radical Muslims believe and are brainwashed as well. They are doing it for their 'Allah'. The radical Muslims around the world do not like the western world, do not like Jews and Christians. If you don't convert to their thinking, you are hated. They have been like that for many, many years. In Israel, they have in their school text books to hate Jews. I am talking about the radical Muslims of Islam....what gets to me is why are their any Muslims out there speaking against their violence and the hatred that they have? Just only a small group who are speaking against their teachings of hatred.

If a muslim commits suicide to kill the people who are fighting him, then he becomes a martyr, but if they commit suicide to kill innocent people then according to Quran that is a sin.

Well, Suicide is a sin in Islam. If you commit suicide you Immediatly go to hell.

But during war. you are aloud to do ANYTHING to protect your family.
