It Burns In The Front
I am sleeping peacefully, but then i hear IT.
I hear IT, The crying baby, The screaming child, The parents trying to soothe them
Because IT Burns In The Front
I get up
I see the flickering light jumpin, jumpin, jumpin.
I smell IT, the smell so strong you want to barbeque,
yet so evil you want to cry
Because IT Burns In The Front
I hear the family stirring.
I hear Papa getting up.
I hear "Mama," and "Louis calm down," and "Hush little baby don't you cry" and all this
Because IT Burns In The Front
Everyone gathers in front where IT burns.
We see white hoods in the dark running away on horses.
We see the light crawling farther down the wood
We see ashes replacing It
But we keep our heads held high
We hold on to each other
We pray
We have faith in God
We believe what King said in his dream
Despite the fact that

After reading this poem
i was left dumb founded
why shaking my head
i feel like my head was pounded
to read this crap
it waisted part of my life
why did you do it
as i want it out of my sight
tonight i laughed and cryed
at why you punished me
making me read this human waiste
when it should be thrown into the sea
so after all is said and done
i never wanna read poetry again
but i may change my mind one day
but not really likely as poetry is lame

I am confused what is this IT ? CROSS?
....do you have urinary infection
or is this a poem about a religious HARRY POTTER with a burning scar in the shape of a cross
actually the poem is good

it is of a black family watching a crucifix burning in their front yard and the kkk running away .
