I agree!!! How many innocent people have to die before something is done about it. I have always been against the general public having weapons, guns are for killing people or animals. I feel really bad for the families of those who lost their lives in Virginia. This happens because anyone can get a gun!

The sad thing is that the americans will still argue for their inalienable right to have guns. And guns are a truly great way to solve arguments - the person who gets shot won't argue back at least. If this had happened in my country (U.K.) then guns would be outlawed in about half a second. Really, really sad!

Why do people constantly blame everything besides the persons sick twisted mind who committed the crime? If firearms were banned the only ones that would have them would be the criminals and the government, and they are often the same thing.

Maybe it's not the firearms fault. Maybe it's the bullets fault. Or perhaps it's the gunpowder companies fault, or the metal company that made the bullet case. Or the mining company that mined the metal? Or the landowner of the land the mine is on? Maybe it's the fault of the alarm clock manufacturer that woke the person up that day?

Why do people insist on blaming everything but the real problem? The problem is the individuals twisted mind and nothing else.

How many people die in automobile accidents every year? Based on your logic we should ban cars as well?

Oh yeah.. RIGHT... let's give the guns away for the friggin' CHILDREN...

Lady... why are you so stupid that you don't know that the only thing standing between the American People and a Government bent on taking ALL OF THEIR RIGHTS AWAY... is the fact that YOU CAN'T ENSLAVE AN ARMED POPULATION.

Just because YOU would never own a gun and so you can call nine one one and be dead dead dead... doesn't mean I feel that way.

Move to some country where people DON'T have guns... just the police, military and thungs and then YOU TELL ME WHICH COUNTRY YOU FEEL SAFEST IN.

Norway has very lax gun rules, if actuality be told their gun rules are very comparable to Texas's, Norway is approximately 80% wasteland and as such searching is wildly accepted (a miles bigger share of the Norwegian inhabitants hunt than in the U. S.) as such gun possession tiers in Norway are intense, in spite of the intense tiers of gun possession violent crime is quite uncommon, Norway has between the backside crime expenditures in the international, as such there may be no would desire to placed up armed guards to a teenage summer season camp (i do no longer have confidence maximum US summer season camps have armed workers patrolling the section - and in the event that they do then it incredibly is a tragic indictment of ways the U. S. now's) He became into in a position to stroll around armed because of the fact he became into dressed as a police officer,

Yes they should ban guns but they won't-they are americans so they think being armed to the teeth is a right.

The problem is the killer not the means he used. In the 1980's a disgruntled ex-boyfriend set fire to a Social Club in New York with a quart of gasoline. 86 people lost their lives. Not one firearm was anywhere near the place.

Now get your heads out of your butts.

I don't see the attraction of owning a gun at all. Sport, maybe.
