Hello, how does top answerer work? I have been awarded over 5 top answers?
in a category - but it shows a girl who has 1 top answer - how?
I am not bitter.....BUT!!!!!
WHY? Please help...
I am looking in my country - UK - and the top answere in that category is German. One thing I have noticed is that Top answerers seem to get best anser on every question they answer..is that why? Or is just in the category that matters?

Top Contributor is one thing.
Top Answerer is another. And it is having LOTS of problems. Many people who should be on that list are gone (including me, as #1 in THIS category!!). Yahoo knows about it and is "fixing" it and asks us to be patient! <Sigh -- never my best point!>
Do remember one thing -- the CATEGORY leaderboards are now also by country (site), so if you are in a different country, make sure that is where you are looking.

You have to contribute LOTS to a single category to get a top contributor thingy!
