whose oil fired boiler is better? Dunkirk or Weil-McLain?

i am looking into buying a new cast iron boiler and have heard conflicting reports on the seals between the sections of each. which in you experiance is the better boiler? also, i am installing an indirect hot water heater, in my 1,350 s. f. home, should i go with a 4 section boiler? if it makes any difference, the house has the old cast iron radiators. do you have any preference in the burners, Carlin E-Z, vs Beckett AFG ? thank you in advance, car dude.

Personally I would go with a Peerless 4 section with a Beckett burner, & a Peerless Indirect water heater, but that's just me.

In your case, if you have it narrowed down to the two, I suggest the Weil McLain with a Beckett burner, but again it's a matter of preference.

Reguardless of what you opt for, definately go with a Beckett burner. They're reliable, easy to fix, & easy to get parts for when needed.

    Hope this helps, good luck!!

your house is small why would you buy a 4 sec. You need to do a heat loss to find out what size you need. Then go to Energy kinetics web site and find a dealer for a system 2000. You can save 50% on your heating bill. Remember plumbers do not go to school for heating they guess just like the guy who told you to by a peerless 4 sec. Also most hvac tech only do hot air furnaces and have no idea how to size a hydronic system.
