Yes, if that's what you need to do, then do it. But if he's a good man otherwise, and a good troop, for the good of the country you might want to just get a divorce and move on.

It's "court martial".
And no, you cannot get the other guy court martialled, nor would it make a lick of difference in your relationship with your wife. Wives cheat because they cheat, not because the other guy "makes" them cheat. She is doing this now, she will do it again. Heck, the other guy might not even know she's married.
Loose the wife. Honestly. If she's cheating now, she'll be cheating again, and it's not worth the heartache to repeat the same thing over and over again.
As far as court martials are concerned, adultery is punishable under the UCMJ. However, in order to get it prosecuted you need to go to JAG and go from there. Whether the other guy is prosecuted, court martialled, or just told to "knock it off" is mostly down to his chain of command.

Talk to your wife first because he is not the problem she is. Find out if your marriage can be saved. With everything that is going on he still might not get court martialed. I know cases where men are married and cheated several times and are still in. But if your wife has moved on emotionally then if not this guy then it would be another guy. Go to your wife and see what it takes to fix your marriage. But if she cheated while you are here then more then likely she is going to cheat in your absence. You two can also seek counseling because you need your issues resolved before going into a hostile environment. My husband is leaving to go to Iraq in a few months and right now we are doing everything to strengthen our marriage before he leaves. To survive fifteen months it is going to take dedication and commitment.

From the sound of your situation, no. There are cases where he could. For example, if you are overseas and marrying an international, then there are requirements for security clearances, immigration and counseling that are required by the chain of command and not following them could lead to court marshal for disobeying an order. He will be required to tell his chain of command and change his DEERS status. There is no punishment as long as he does what he is required to do. Usually things like this apply when a service member doesn't disclose the information and doesn't provide support (which is sad, but it occasionally happens).

There is no way to get your head on right, if she cheated with one person you are always going to think that there is someone else that she is cheating with no matter what you have done to the first one.

Sounds good to me. I would make sure you close down all your joint accounts and put a block on your credit report before you deploy too. If you do this, she will get pissed and pissed off military wives do some nasty stuff you guys get screwed into paying back forever. Cover your butt while taking care of this other business. Kick her out too.

If I were you I would inform that individual's commander and 1SG. But, ensure you have enough proof when you do. As long as you can prove it then the UCMJ will take it's course of action. That should take care of him. As far as she's concerned, (If it were me in this situation) the divorce paperwork would be in her hand before I left.

No, you can not get anyone court martialed. His commander has to. But you have to file a written statement. And it must be literate, so you don't have much of a chance. Kick the women out and get on with your business.
Frankly I think you are lying, but who cares. Sounds like you are a loser anyway.
