Anybody have a bed frame from IKEA? I need some help!!!!!!?
I recently bought a bedframe from Ikea. I will be putting it together tomorrow. What advice can you give me about how to make sure it will be secure. I want to make sure it will not fall in. I have heard that if they are not properly installed you have problems. Also will I have problems with the bed holding up mine and my husbands weight. I weigh 145, my husband is 6ft 3 and weighs 210. Thank you , any info will be greatly appreciated.

Allow yourself twice the time that you think it will take. Ensure all the parts are there and read through the instructions visualizing yourself actually doing those actions. Don't over tighten (especially with a pine frame).
After a couple of months, tighten the accessible bolts and screws. If it is a slatted frame as opposed to a box spring type, make sure the slats fit well. I have had no problem with mine after about six years. Good luck and have a bottle of wine after you finish!

Just follow the instructions completely and make sure you use tools to make sure all of the hardware is tightened and secure. Beds are funny though, the laws of physics apply. As long as you don't get all crazy by shaking/moving it all over, your body weight should keep it together. Lots of luck!
