What do you do when you lose a match that it was so so so clear you were going to win it?
I just lost that match which was so clear I was going to win, I just don't know what happened, maybe because it was only one set. I can't get over that, HELP.

1. You congratulate your opponent, and give credit where credit is due.
2. Next, If you need to blow some steam off, do so. I don't know if it's shouting out loud in the comfort and silence of your car, serving even harder during solo practice, or running extra laps.
3. Repeat step 2 as many times, until you come to the full realization of the futility of step 2.
4. Reflect what honestly happened (no one knows but you; so admit mistakes which were clearly made. Take advice from the answers here - people who've clearly been there before and know what they're talking about).
5. Prepare for the same scenario to occur in the near future. In a future tennis game, you'll realize that you're in the same situation. Depending on that exact, critical, pivotal moment, you will either dig deep to the core, or revert back to the comfortable, predictable pattern of giving in under pressure. How deep will you need to dig? It depends on how thorough you completed step 4. Do you respect your opponent? Do you feel there is not much to learn in tennis?

Sometimes when you realize, during a match, that you are on the verge of a "win", you lose your focus and your mental edge which causes your game to suffer. Sometimes a small opening can give your opponent just enough positive momentum that they eek out a victory - it is true that fortunes can change in a heart beat on the tennis court. Don't let it bother you because it happens to the very best - just remember to concentrate on the match - stay in the moment - until the match is over. You can reflect on how clearly you won AFTER you shake your opponents hand. Cheer up! You've learned a good lesson.

It's just a matter of concentration. Some lose it because they ease up. They think they're at home stretch and their opponent cannot catch up anymore. Others just get tighten up. They keep thinking I'm finally going to win...blah blah blah...instead of doing what they did in the early set(s) which is focus. Keep doing what you did...don't let anything ruin your concentration. I'm sure you've watched enough match on TV where they're down to the match point and still turned the match around because the other player couldn't stay focus knowing they're about to win.

You might have let down your guard, and stopped fighting for every point. You just need to take a moment and let it sink in that you lost. But don't get mad at the loss. Just take it as a learning experience. Just try to fight for every point in the future. The past is the past, but you can change the future!!!

Being a winner isn't just about winning. It's about your attitude. Some things are more important that winning.

accept it. then you must review your match to know what's the matter with you so you cannot win the match. then fix your problem :)

First you get a lil upset. then u make up, saying that you can do it next time. I was only overconfident this time. I WILL do it next time. It always happens!
