You pay a hire charge for up to 8 people to be legal BUT you can then invite dozens more to ride free of charge provided they are are in proper seats. The number of PAYING passengers determines the class of vehicle and the driver. The DVLA have yet to sort this one out much to the annoyance of regular Taxi and Minibus owners.

when i had limos it was a max of 8 but that was 2 years ago ring 1 up and see if they can help im sure if they say more than 8 the driver should have a minibus licencssorry cant remember the name of it

THE AMOUNT OF PASSENGERS IN A VEHICLE IS DETERMINED BY THE OWNERS MANUAL OR BY THE SIZE AND COMFORT IN A LIMO. THERE BUILT FOR COMFORT AND LUXURY. AN AVERAGE LIMO 20 -26 PEOPLE. BUT THIS IS DETERMINES BY THE SIZE OF VEHICLE IN THE US. 8* MAX PASSENGERS IN UK.
