You don't get anything for nothing, it's a scam do not answer do not give personal information. Just google scam and see how many hits yoou get, there are millions of them and they are all aimed at taking your money. An excellent site giving advice on how to recognise and avoid scams is at www.rz-berlin.mpg.de/~wm/wm-lotto.html Also If you go to the following link you will get some info on ID theft www.identity-theft.org.uk the iinternet is safe enough if you are careful but please answer nothing that you are doubtful about.Good Luck and be careful.

Only the foolish, the naive and the greedy think that ANYONE would pick an email address at randoim and you win a ridiculaous amount of money.
With these scams you are soon required to provide bank details and make a payment to 'receive' your winning...which -- after making a payment -- you will NEVER see...Of course.
Delete as soon as you get them!

Hello
Sadly this is a scam started within the Yahoo Directory.
Please report as spam and junk mail and delete it.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention
All the best

You 'spam' them? What do you mean by that exactly? Replying to spam emails lets them know that your email address is active, so you're bound to get more.

These are bogus. The UK lottery does not know any names - you can only claim a prize if you present a winning ticket. Ignore these emails

Any email you get telling you that you have won money in a competition that you haven't even entered is a con. Just delete them.
