What kind of Haircut???

Hey there guys and girls I need help,

So this is pretty much how I look in my Avatar, same color hair and all, I kind of have bangs on the side of my face down to my chin, I have hair down to my butt (LOL) it's REALLY thick and curly, I LOVE it but I would also love something different. Do any of you know what kind of haircut would be great for me?. and how much do you think it would cost for my hair?.

Other Details.

my hair fizzes up sometimes,

I am a ''bigger'' size so I don't know if that matters. : P

Thank you all!

Update:

OH and I forgot I am 15 years old and 5'8.

I don't know if that matters or not but whatever : P

Update 2:

Thanks guys/girls.

I just would love something different because I am so different then what I used to be ( that's a good thing I think LOL ) THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR TIME!!!

Go subtle changes...I know I have long hair, and I'm a fanatic about it, I'd never just cut it all off.

This is what I did for a change at the first of the year:

Trimmed about 3" off the ends, had the front tapered around my face to long bangs that came down to the end of my nose (it was all one length)....and then later I added highlights a few shades lighter than my natural color. Also, I started straightening it for a change. (mine is also mostly curly with a little frizz in the back if I don't straighten it.)

Don't go crazy with your hair....just a little at a time...something that you can live with, without a drastic change.

Since your hair is so thick, it's probably very pretty. Since it's long, I'd suggest cutting it to just above your elbows, so tell your stylist to your elbows(they always cut more). The hair that you cut can be donated to Locks for Love, and you could make someone's day by allowing them to wear your hair! Think of the privelige! And, since you have a lot of hair, it'd probably be about $50, but it is SO worth it! Your head will be much lighter, you'll use less shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, shine spray, volumizing mousse, gel, styling spray, maintenance cream, and save water! I'm sure you'll look totally fabulous, and it's a great way to start a new you!

i would just trim a couple of inches first of all because you may wake up the next morning and say "what was I thinking?" I've done this before. my hair is long too and i have cut it and later regret it. but after you trim a couple of inches, if you are sure you want to go shorter, then do it.

Maybe u should cut ur hair a little longer then ur shoulders and ur bangs to the end of ur nose <> but make sure u get it layered and angled so it doesnt lokk all chopped!?!

I don't think you should cut it. Your hair sounds beautiful, and I wouldn't want you to regret it.

I think that mid-back layered hair would be cool

  • wow... you sound just like me... but i think the best think to do is just cut it a little because it will shrink when dry...good luck...just try experimenting

cut it half way to the half of the back

if you love it then don't cut it. you will regret it. i would just leave it how it is now.
