    LOL Good one Wally.

I think all the Bibles in the drawers in hotel rooms are Autograhped. They all mention some guy named Gideon. I think its the dude from Criminal Minds. I don't know why he thinks everyone will want his autograph. ;)

Do you have any idea how many people had a hand in writing and editing the book we know as the Bible?

The first Creation and Flood stories were written by the Sumerians over 4000 years ago, and were absorbed by the Hebrews centuries later. (Look up the Epic of Gilgamesh, and compare to Genesis.)

The New Testament has a colorful history; there were dozens of "holy books" in the first 300 years of Christianity, floating around among all the different churches and Christian groups. Then Constantine, Emperor of Rome, called a meeting at Nicea to decide (among other things) on a standardized set of books for every church. So the ones that the Council didn't like got tossed out; the ones that were approved were included, with some editing; and the result was the first version of what we now call the New Testament.

The book that we are most familiar with is probably the King James Bible, published in England in the early 1600's. This was supposed to be the definitive translation of the Old and New Testaments into English. There are probably one or two that were signed by King James himself, though I'm sure they are under lock and key. This may be as close as you could get to "an autographed copy of the Bible".

I don't mean to laugh, but autographed by whom?

I just thought this was a funny question to be asking, especially because all of the authors that have contributed to the bible are unfortunately dead.

I observed an infomercial on television for a ministry merchandising packets of magic miracle water. They claimed it could make you provide up smoking, treatment affliction - this is like prayer in a shot glass. and each time somebody buys a packet of magic miracle water, a toddler in want of a Bible in Africa gets one. this is a win-win... Why no longer purchase magic miracle water?

Quick! Hurry! I saw one on ebay for $9.00 but you'd better hurry because once people find it, it will drastically increase in price.

Just type in "autographed bible" in the search window and it will take you right to it...

It was written by so many people, and I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but most, if not all of them, have passed away. It's possible another Book or Gospel will show written by someone that still lives and breathes; otherwise, I think you're out of luck.

And yes, I'm being just a bit goofy.
