I passed gas in my car and I cant get the smell out of the carpet please help.?

Rule #2 - Never ask a question that you expect an answer to without revealing the entire nature of the question.

The question should have read "How do I get the nasty smell out of my car after I crapped my pants and drug my butt across the carpet?"

Since you said you changed the oil and the car died, I guess it really doesn't matter now, does it? But I find a bit of gas on the carpet and a match will get out any odours pretty quickly.

roll down your windows, get your car detailed inside, hang an air freshener on your rearview mirror.. and if all else fails, try the febreze.. (although i don't think i'd spray my expensive @ss suv with febreze)..
