Any info on the University of Edinburgh for an international student?

I am strongly considering applying to the U. of Edinburgh for my Master's Degree when I finish my undergrad. I have three semesters to go, so I'm not in a hurry, but would like to start considering my options. Am also considering enrolling for a semester as a visiting student while doing my undergrad to test the waters a bit. I'm currently majoring in an independently designed program dealing with culture and communication, and would like to get my postgrad in their Cultural Studies program. I am from the US, have spent a few days in Edinburgh and loved it. Anyone with information or suggestions?

There are a lot of international students enrolled there. Because of the poor exchange rate, tuition will be high. Since a basic Master's is only 1 year (M.Litt.), it is not necessary you spend a semester there before grad school. If you intend to get your Ph.D., then get the 2 year masters (M.Phil).
