my what is it question is i live in the country i know what snake holes look like,yellow jackets, rabbit holes ect but what kind of animal builds a home from the ground up that looks like a volcano out of mud ? huh

Termites look like that. Back in Botswana, we had termite mounds which were 8 feet tall. Quite impressive.
