What would be different about your life if you had not moved away?

Update:

I would not have met my best friend and other friends. I also wouldn't have afforded being home with my baby for this long.

Moves can be wonderful changes!

I would never had gotten into so much trouble in high school (I was a tad bit rebellious!)

But I never would have met my husband which means I'd would not have had my sweet little boy.

I would never have the career oppurtunities I have down here.

Things are better here than they would have been there despite my teenage years!

If me and my family hadn't moved when I was 9, I think I would have done really well and been pretty popular in high school since I would have known everyone. But nooooo, we had to move to some place where NO ONE knew me and I was picked on from then on out...

Just remembered this bit: I never would have met the guy I dated on and off for 5 years just to find out when those 5 years were up that he was gay and realize those were 5 years of my life wasted. I also never would've been friends with any of the people I was friends with in high school which would have changed how my life turned out DRASTICALLY!

  • I feel the same way u do. When I first moved...I hated it but then I made so many gud friendz & I got used 2 it. I'll still miss my old friendz but hey "old is gold, & new...well new is 2 good 2 be true"

Negative: I'd be making more money had I stayed put. I would not have the sickness and allergies that I get in this area. My family would be happier.

Positive: I get to spend a lot of time with my extended family now. Bought a house. My wife and I had our second child (though the OB nearly killed my wife.)

i'd still be living in a busy city, and i'd probably be a totally different person.

i probably wouldn't have studied what i'm doing now, so i wouldn't have had the chance to see russia, france, germany..

we wouldn't be living in this gorgeous house, and there's no way we could have afforded any of the luxuries we have now.

so it was good we moved! :P

I would probably be a really bad kid cuz of the other bad kids' influences in our old neighborhood. I'd be all caught up in school and its drama, parties, etc. I'm glad we moved. Now I don't worry about that stuff and I've surrounded myself with lots of good friends.

    That's a really good question! :)

I would be with the one guy...that's planning on living his life with me...I would be meeting everyone in his family...having more fun...but sorry...forwarding my education comes first...The difference would be that...i would have been taken...and as a popular girl...other guys wouldn't be bugging to be with me again...so its okay...since I moved...because I know I can get anything I want when I want....

I wouldn't be the ambitous successful person that I am today and I maybe wouldn't have ended up with my husband. I guess God always knows whats best.

thats the best thing about life, there is no way to go back and see if things would be better or worse, you just keep moving forward and doing your best to make it a good life for you and yours
