My CPA said they would just bill me, but didnt know or care if there was a penalty. It was the state that I owed. Missouri. Should I mail it tonight before midnight, or wait until tomorrow, or wait for a bill??? Is this a reason to be concerned?

I am a strong believer in the Lord. But I do not like following man-made traditions. Is a baby dedication significant to the Lord, or does it just make for a pretty Church activity.?

It's my husband's cousin's daughter's dedication this Mother's Day. It's at a church that I do not enjoy. I love my church! And the non-traditional part of me does not understand the spiritual significance of dedications. But my MIL just made a big deal about.

Should I cave in once again do what they want, or just go to my church on Sunday?

My 4 year old sheltie got ticks last year during a walk in the woods. I would guess about 200 little ticks. I called the vet ASAP and he said to take them off and not worry.

A month later, he started limping. I took him to the vet and he gave him an anitbiotic and anit inflamatory and off we went.

A month later, it happened again. Meds given.

Now, about a year later, he is still limping off and on. Today it is so bad that he cannot move. I am taking him to ANOTHER vet as soon as I can afford to. But in the meantime, what could it be? Should I be mad at the first vet for being so unconcerned??? What do you think is wrong with my doggie!?

And please, I know to go to the vet, so I don't need that advice. Thanks for your help.

I went to the grocery store with my 5 month old today. I came up to my car and put my daughter in before putting in the groceries. As I was closing her door, a man in the car next to me got out and said, "You have a baby." NO sh--.

He got in his back seat and pulled out a dirty teddy bear and gave it to me.

What I did: I said thank you, threw the groceries in the car, got in and locked the door, and came home and threw it away.

What would you do?
