Can you really make yourself sick when upset?

Extreme sadness makes me sick to my stomach...

yes you can. you are stressed out and stress isn't good for the body. it can cause headaches and other problems. i've been sick from being very upset before. stress is not good for the body.

Yea.....especially in the brain. I found out that when I am upset or stressed, I get this headache that lasts for days.

yes, my sister when she was around 16 years old she was really upset all the time because of my father she says... and a vessel in her eyes exploded and blood came out from it and the doctor said it was because she was too much angry all the time!!

you can get stressed out to the point where you have symptons of being sick - upset stomach, headache, etc.... YES!!!!

yes you can bring on symptoms. Upset= stress= strain on system

if your nerves get to racked it can make you throw up or if you expieriance something real mentally hurtful you can get depressed and in turn that will make you feel fatige and a kinda sick feeling
