Have you ever been given best answer only to find....?

Or "Your's is the best of a bunch of bad answers." I got that one once.

10 is 10, it's nice to know when you've helped someone, but I guess I don't feel bad when I get best answer by default but I do feel good when I get it chosen by asker.

I can never understand why people take the time to ask a question then don't pick their own best answer, especially for a personal question, what's that all about?

I got one that was only 1 star and said something like they were reporting me for being racist. I just gave the history of the South in the 1800's. But I guess they never did report me.

Yeah or if I was the only one who answered. It's a bummer, but atlease I still get the 10 points.

yeah i had one the other day through votes and the asker didnt leave a very nice comment , but who cares it was a **** question anyway and i was the only one who answered it xx

yea, that's happened to me. if i don't get a good answer, i add details. or, just pick some random person. i still need points and i don't think letting the community choose is fair.
