What is the average percentage a personal injury attorney gets from the settlement/verdict?

    When an attorney works on a contingency basis, the average percentage is 33%. They would recover 33% of any settlement after all disbursements are paid. If you do not recover a settlement, they don't get paid.

    It depends on the attorney you are hiring. Normally, it is 30-40%.

    30-40% is the norm.
