What's the Rental / Real Estate market like in Myrtle Beach?

I was just there for a weekend, and was surprised to see how affordable some of the properties were. Do these places fetch enough rental income to turn a profit?

    Hey careful with the answers above... Myrtle Beach like Fort Lauderdale Beach are seasonal area so you make money only during the season which I presume it will be summer for Myrtle Beach and winter for Fort Lauderdale.

    Off season mean rent are half the price than during the busy season.

    Never made a profit just when I sold the place
