What are the benefits (if any) of the Americans "invading" Iraq and killing its leader?

The US military-industrial complex was enriched by profits from munitions and equipment arising from the war and the exigencies of the military occupation itself. Further, when Saddam was deposed and the government was dismantled, this put the oil profits and all the local industries up for grabs, since Iraq was a socialist type dictatorship with much government ownership. I wonder whether Rumsfeld allowed the extensive looting after the fall of Baghdad, because it would result in more destruction and need for reconstruction. In any event, the US instigators of the war hoped for a long term colonial type relationship of economic exploitation with Iraq and it is no coincidence that many US officials and their relatives have an interest in the companies which have profited greatly from the Iraq war including Halliburton, Bechtel, Exxon, and Blackwater.

This is an excellent question and the answer is there are no benefits. Thus far, it has not helped Americans or America in the least, not even with the oil.

    Benefits?

Are there benefits to invasion and murder?

Ask the English, I think thats where we got it from.

    No benefits to the invaded.

I think thats also how America was aquired, by Invasion and Murder. Who benefited? It's very sad isn't it?

The benefits are for Israel who asked for the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, so that they, the Israeli paranoid people, could satisfy their sick kinky sexual fantasies.
