Sleeping Habits of a Mali Uromastyx?

I just recently bought a Mali Uromastyx, he's about 6 months old. He's in an upstairs bedroom, that I'm only in at night. When I get home and get ready for bed I go up to my bedroom and I can tell he's been running around. When I get up there he'll stop in any position that he's in and fall asleep like that. The first night he went to sleep standing up on one foot, and then he fell over in the middle of the night. I was just wondering if this was normal?

We've had a mali for nearly 5 years now and she sleeps however she wants. Many times I've found her half way up her climbing rock, asleep. She usually slides down during the night - wish I could sleep that soundly!

I don't think you have a problem, as long as he's warm enough and has enough space to move around. Also, be careful about their digging. They like to make holes in their sand, so be sure anything you put in goes all the way to the bottom of the habitat so it doesn't collapes if he digs underneath.

    Enjoy!
